The Man in the Brown Suit (Colonel Race, #1)

by Agatha Christie

I guess I should go into a Christie novel from 1924 expecting to learn new racial slurs and new horrifying theories on the mysteries of heterosexuality, but I wasn't thinking about it very hard.

Other than all that... Eh? Safe to skip this one.

EDIT: OK, I think I'm being unfair because the last 30% of this got really full of shitty straight romance I didn't jibe with. The voice is fun, Anne as a character is fun, and it comes with the (1924) territory that she is also full of appalling opinions about colonialism and women.
