The Five Red Herrings (Lord Peter Wimsey, #7)
by Dorothy L. Sayers
Kinda slow, the accents rendered on the page were VERY annoying (and especially as a USian, it was painfully clear to me that Wimsey and the rest of the English guys should also have their dialogue spelled absurdly, but it's all about what you consider normal and correct....), and then Sayers goes and uses the n word for no reason except that she's a shitty white lady writing in 1931 and don't we forget it. It helps a lot if you don't care which artist is which and ignore all the time details and the map at the front of the book, too. I never solve mysteries before the reveal at the end, so I don't really care if they play fair.
It was readable and it occupied my time when I needed some time occupied, but you can safely pass this one by otherwise.
