Really not my cup of tea! As an allegory it's way over the top. You're going to understand The Moral even if you get a concussion in the process. Tries to be a Serious Feelings Book with the inclusion of affairs and people failing to get over the loss of a spouse, but it's not actually that deep---all the characters have to do to resolve their problems is come out as witches. Definitely not reading the rest of the series, thanks but no thanks.

Oh, and a magical wish-fulfillment instantaneous transition just to round out the list of things that don't appeal to me in books.
