Great intro to a lot of topics in disability for me, with interesting tie-ins to fairy tales and all the other stories we tell. I had no idea the history of fairy-tale writing; that was fascinating, especially the subversive feminist stuff about fairy godmothers as a better arbiter than patriarchy and true love as to be preferred over arranged marriages.
