I got anxious that it wouldn't live up to my high expectations at first, but then IT DID. I can tell this one is going on my frequent-rereads pile.
I think if I have any complaint about this series it's that it's not quite as thoughtful about the relationship between medical technology advances and disability as Bujold, but that's a really high bar, and it's not like Wells does it badly, it's just not her primary interest. Neurodiversity is more her wheelhouse.
