Why did I read it? Because I read the other two, and they rank as "readable, if nothing else." Most of it was predictable, except the immortality. I find that an inadequate and frustrating solution to everybody's problems. Also who wants to spend eternity with their high school boyfriend? Well, maybe at the time....
