Saga, Volume 1
by Brian K. Vaughan, Fiona Staples
I've seen Saga around for years, but never picked it up until Sam bought it on Saturday at Fantom's new location in Dupont Circle. (http://www.fantomcomics.com/)
The art is fantastic and so is the story! I can't think how to summarize the storyline except "Romeo and Juliet and colonialism," but that doesn't get the subtleties across very well. Just in the last three days we've had several conversations about the themes of war and how it affects morality. Sam's already done with the second volume and wishing she had bought the third.
