Wonder Boys

I don't like "books like this"---where the characters are all in failing marriages and everyone is a failure and miserable all the time and an invisible high school English teacher is breathing down your neck and chiding you for not understanding the book at all, you philistine.
But I really enjoyed reading this book, I finished it in a matter of days, and I guess the only thing left to attribute it to is Michael Chabon and his style.
After I got him to sign this a couple weeks ago, I had to finally finish it!
